Whipped Feta Dip
This whipped feta dip is creamy, tangy, and incredibly easy to make. Blended with a touch of cream cheese and olive oil, it transforms salty feta into a smooth, spreadable base that's perfect for crostini, salads, or dipping boards.
It's simple, versatile, and can be customised with herbs, citrus, chilli, or honey depending on how you're serving it.
Ingredients
Makes approximately 1/2 a cup.
- 200g (6 1/2 oz) feta cheese (A soft danish style feta works best)
- 20g (3/4 oz) cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Topping Ideas
- Honey, nuts and fresh thyme
- Citrus zest and pomegranate
- Chilli flakes and parmesan cheese
- Parsley or other fresh herbs
Method
- Add the feta and cream cheese to a small blender.
- Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Add the olive oil and blend again.
The whipped feta is now ready to use. You can either put it into a piping bag for using when making appetisers, or spread onto a plate and top with your choice of toppings.
